Galera and Orce villages have all of the usual amenities such as banks, chemists, medical centres, hotels, bars, restaurants, museums, infant/junior schools, a weekly market and swimming pools.

Nearest airports are Granada (around 1h30 drive away), followed by Almeria, Murcia, Alicante and Malaga.

The coast is around 1h30 drive from La Alqueria, however Lake Negratin is around 40 minutes drive which has beach areas and hot springs.
