The property was originally created as a school and used as such up untill the 1970's when it closed due to the lack of children in the area.

Baza is a big bustling town situated in a valley of the Sierra Nevada mountain range with a population of approximately 21,000 inhabitants. It has over 10 parks, a bull-ring, cinema, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sports centre, hospital and history dating back to 400BC (the famous "Lady of Baza"). It is famous for its fiesta "Cascamorras" - a very fun, busy and colourful fiesta.

Nearest airport is Granada which is around one hour's drive away.
