Baza has lots of amenities including a hospital, restaurants, schools, shops, big supermarkets, gyms, hotels, swimming pools, etc. and is famous for its yearly fiesta "Cascamorras" in September.
It´s around 50 minutes drive away from Granada city (and airport) and 1.5 hours from the coast, although just 10 minutes drive from Lake Negratin which has beach areas and hot springs.
Other accessible airports are Almeria, Murcia, Alicante and Malaga.
