Monthly costs are very low around 100 euro a month for all the usual monthly costs, water, rubbish collection, annual town hall tax, and insurance. Electricity is Solar so no expense there used to be 120 euro a month.
The location is at 1000m altitude in the mountains but right next to the A92 motorway, this means much cooler and dry summers but a bit colder in the winter months and we do get snow but mostly up on the top of the mountains behind the house. The motorway gives you direct access to Murcia to the west and Granada to the east.
The coast is about an hour away by car.
