There are 3 places in Huéscar where you can surf the net if the pull for technology becomes too great.

Coarse fishing is popular around here. Fly fishing doesn't appear to be as popular. You do need a license to fish here. This can allegedly be obtained by doing a simple one day course and a short test. The licence can be for one, three or five years. In Galera you can only obtain the licence once a year in Feb. There are other areas that do the test more often such as in the town of Pozo Alcon where the test takes place once a month.
San Clemente offers great opportunities to fish especially at the trout farm where you can catch as much as you like. You do not need a fish license to fish here. All fishing equipment is available on request. The only thing you've got to do is bring a nice bottle of wine and barbecue the trout on one of the many outdoor picnic places in the neighbourhood.
Cost: Based on how much you catch, approximately €6 per kilo.
